Canton Smart Sub 8 is an active wireless subwoofer from a well-known German manufacturer that combines the latest technology with years of proven solutions to achieve excellent sound. Thanks to its stylish design and high-quality technological content, Smart Sub 8 is ideal for home theaters or multi-channel audio systems. The subwoofer delivers deep, powerful bass and enhances the sound experience of watching movies and listening to music.
Smart Sub 8 has a restrained and modern design. Its cabinet is made of sturdy MDF sheets covered with high-quality foil films and varnish. It is available in black and white colors. The subwoofer is almost cube-shaped with dimensions of 270 x 330 x 270 mm and weighs 8.5 kg. The driver is directed to the floor, which contributes to deep and rich bass, and rubber feet minimize vibrations at high volume.
On the rear panel, there is an input terminal with screw terminals for connection (banana type) and a switch for operation modes (wireless or wired). The subwoofer is equipped with RCA line inputs only, which provides convenient connection to other audio systems.
The subwoofer is equipped with a single 219 mm woofer made of graphite composite material with a compressed cellulose cone. The built-in 200 W digital amplifier guarantees a surround and rich sound even at low frequencies. This ensures maximum immersion when watching movies or listening to music.
The subwoofer has a closed-range acoustic design, which gives it clear and natural bass. The frequency range from 27 to 150 Hz allows Smart Sub 8 to deliver rich low tones, and the adjustable crossover allows you to adjust the cutoff frequency from 50-200 Hz. In addition, there is a smooth phase control function that provides even more precise sound tuning.
