Figure 103OR is a six-string classical guitar with a linden body. Linden is a very light and fairly soft wood, which provides a good balanced sound. Nylon strings are thicker and qualitatively soft. The tension is low, and the fingers feel very comfortable. The mirror varnish gives the guitar a more ornate look. The gig bag is included.
Classical guitars descended from the Spanish vielle and gittern in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, which later evolved into the baroque guitar of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, and then into the modern classical guitar in the mid-nineteenth century. The often overlooked versatility of the classical acoustic guitar allows its great timbre to be used in any genre, from classical repertoire to flamenco to modern pop and rock.
