Passive Subwoofer JBL JRX218S

The JBL JRX218S is a powerful passive subwoofer designed to extend the frequency range of JRX series loudspeakers and deliver deep, accurate, and tight bass in installations and portable sound systems. Thanks to the use of an 18-inch woofer with a 3-inch voice coil, the model works effectively even under high loads and withstands thermal overload well. This allows the subwoofer to be used in powerful systems with an active crossover and an external amplifier with a power of 350 to 700 watts.

The JRX218S model features a high sound pressure level of up to 133 dB SPL, providing noticeable bass at distances of up to 20 meters. At the same time, it maintains low distortion and natural sound even at peak volume levels. The frequency range of 34 Hz provides dense and dynamic reproduction of the lowest frequencies, which is important for live performances, DJ sets, and large hall sound systems.

The subwoofer enclosure is made of 19 mm MDF with an additional black acoustic carpet covering, and a steel grille protects the speaker from mechanical damage. The robust construction and durable materials allow the JRX218S to perform confidently in the demanding conditions of touring or fixed installations.
