The Behringer NEKKST K5 studio monitor is the result of a unique collaboration between Behringer engineers and the legendary acoustic systems designer and founder of KRK, Keith R. Klawitter. This active 2-way reference system is designed to provide uncompromisingly honest and accurate sound, which is critical for any professional studio environment. Thanks to its bi-amping system, the monitor powers a 5-inch glass fiber woofer that reproduces deep, tight bass with clean mids, and a 1-inch silk dome tweeter that delivers crystal-clear and sparkling highs.

At the core of the design is the pursuit of absolute signal integrity. True bi-amping technology means that each driver—both low-frequency and high-frequency—has its own separate amplifier. This approach, unlike the use of simple passive crossovers, eliminates phase distortion and ensures that each component operates at maximum efficiency. The result is an impressively flat frequency response and audiophile-level sound, allowing you to hear the mix exactly as it is.
