French studio equipment manufacturer Focal-JmLab has announced the launch of its Trio11 Be active 3-way studio monitors, which are suitable for use in the near and middle field. This model provides natural and accurate sound with a linear frequency response and is intended for professional studio use.
The Trio11 Be uses 10" woofers and 5" midrange drivers based on composite sandwich technology and an inverted beryllium tweeter. The novelty is equipped with G class amplifiers for mid and low frequencies, a class A / B amplifier is used for the tweeter. In addition to new drivers, the monitors use TMD technology, which reduces audio signal distortion, and NIC technology, which optimizes low frequency response dynamics.
One of the interesting features of Trio11 Be is the Focus function, which turns off the woofer and transforms the speaker into a two-way 5" monitor. It is also possible to place the speakers horizontally, the section with midrange and tweeters is rotatable and adjustable in 90 degree steps. For connection, the monitors are equipped with XLR inputs. On the rear panel there are settings for equalization of each of the bands, a switch activating the automatic standby function, a switch for three and two band playback modes. Price for 1 piece.
