Neumann KH 120 II EU/KC (Black) is a next-generation professional studio monitor designed for highly accurate and neutral sound reproduction. Compared to its predecessor, the model delivers deeper bass, higher resolution, and increased maximum output, making it an ideal choice for home, project, and professional control room studios.
The monitor provides exceptional linearity across the 44 Hz to 21 kHz range with minimal phase distortion thanks to its built-in DSP. This ensures precise reproduction of dynamics and fine details, enabling sound engineers to create mixes that translate consistently across different playback systems. High manufacturing precision with a tolerance of no more than ±0.5 dB delivers clear and stable stereo imaging.
KH 120 II is optimized for nearfield use with a recommended listening distance of 1–2 m. It is perfectly suited for editing, mixing, and monitoring audio in small studios, as well as in multichannel or immersive systems. Its compact enclosure also makes it convenient for use in mobile studio setups or on-location recording.
The system features a Mathematically Modelled Dispersion™ (MMD™) waveguide, which provides a wide and stable listening area while minimizing unwanted reflections from surfaces. Using the MA 1 software (sold separately), the monitor can be precisely calibrated for specific room acoustics, ensuring optimal sound quality even in challenging environments.
KH 120 II supports both analog and digital connectivity via S/PDIF, offering versatile integration into modern studio setups. The energy-efficient Class D amplifier technology delivers peak power of 145 W for the woofer and 100 W for the tweeter, while consuming only 17 W in standby mode, with an automatic power-saving feature reducing consumption to as low as 0.3 W.
