The Rega ATLAS MK2 Clamping Force Meter is a device that is designed for ease of use, reliability, and high accuracy. Rega engineers paid special attention to every detail to ensure maximum efficiency. The ATLAS MK2 was designed to solve the problem of external gauge failure in tonearm production areas. The redesigned version of the MK2 now has an extended weight range, allowing it to work even with heavier cartridges (up to 10g). Engineers have also improved stability and sensitivity to ensure accurate measurements.
The body of the meter is made of durable aluminum and contains a highly stable load cell and a precise amplification circuit. There is also a special protection that facilitates the alignment process. This provides the ATLAS MK2 with high accuracy without significant user intervention. The load cage features a premium shear beam design and is temperature-compensated for performance in a variety of conditions. ATLAS MK2's intelligent design allows you to get accurate measurements every time, allowing for very detailed settings to two decimal places.
