Mad Heads XL is one of the most famous rock bands in Ukraine. Founded in 1991, the band performed rockabilly songs. The band's first three albums were released in Germany in English. In 1998, the band returned to Ukraine and began singing in Ukrainian. The band started out as a rockabilly band, but in 2004 changed their style to ska punk. Over the course of its history, the band has released a number of unique studio albums and participated in many festivals and concerts. In the 2010s, Mad Heads XL began experimenting with different styles. The band released albums in the style of rock, pop, and even electronic music. Despite constant changes, Mad Heads XL remains one of the most popular rock bands in Ukraine. The band has a large number of fans who appreciate it for its energetic music and sincere lyrics. Mad Heads XL have always been known for their energetic performances and vivid images. They have become one of the most popular rock bands in Ukraine. Their songs about love, friendship and freedom have found a response in the hearts of millions of listeners. Recently, Mad Heads XL has been actively involved in charity work. They perform at charity concerts and help the Ukrainian military.
UkrainianSKA – Mad Heads XL's album, released in 2011, is one of the most important events in Ukrainian rock music. This is the band's first attempt to present Ukrainian folk music in a modern sound. The album consists of 12 songs that use traditional Ukrainian melodies and motifs. However, Mad Heads XL's music is not just a copy of folk songs. The band added their own rock and roll charm to them. The album "UkrainSKA" was well received by critics and the public. It became one of the most popular albums of Ukrainian rock music.
