Aerosmith is a famous American rock band that was formed in Boston in 1970. The band consists of vocalist Steven Tyler, guitarist Joe Perry, bassist Tom Hamilton, drummer Joey Kramer, and guitarist Brad Whitford. Their musical style has deep roots in blues rock but also includes elements of pop rock, heavy metal, glam metal, and rhythm and blues. Aerosmith are known for their numerous multi-platinum albums, starting with their debut album Aerosmith (1973) and their second album Get Your Wings (1974).
Aerosmith's “Get Your Wings” was released on March 15, 1974, and was their second studio album. It was the band's first album produced by Jack Douglas. Although none of the three singles from this album charted, "Get Your Wings" was certified platinum by the RIAA. At the time, the band already had their own audience of fans, but it was this album that helped them greatly expand their audience and solidify their place in the world of rock music.
