Borshch is a Ukrainian music band that plays in the style of punk rock and jazz hopak. The name of the band aptly reflects its character, because "borscht" is a delicious Ukrainian dish that is simple, but at the same time rich in ingredients and has many cooking options. The founders of the band are Yuriy Zdorenko and Oleksandr Pipa, who used to be part of the first line-up of the legendary band "Vopli Vidoplyasova". The band "Borshch" includes Yuri Zdorenko (guitar, vocals), Oleksandr Pipa (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Vadim Zyubin (drums). The band is noted for its unique sound, which combines elements of punk rock and traditional Ukrainian music, creating a bright and unique musical style.
Padlo is an album released in 2004. Its name is translated as "carrion", and it itself evokes interesting associations. This album is a real experiment that combines different genres and musical directions. It includes bright songs ranging from punk rock to jazz, with the addition of Ukrainian folk motifs.
