Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR) – American rock band formed in El Cerrito, California, in 1967. The band consisted of John Fogerty (vocals, guitar), his brother Tom Fogerty (rhythm guitar), Stu Cook (bass guitar), and Doug Clifford (drums). CCR was one of the most popular and influential rock bands of the 1960s and 1970s. They were known for their powerful rock and roll, lyrical, and country-rock songs. The band broke up in 1972 when John Fogerty decided to pursue a solo career. However, their music continues to inspire and captivate fans worldwide. Album "Cosmo's Factory" by American rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival, released in July 1970, became one of the most successful in the band's career. It topped the charts in six countries and includes famous hits such as "Travelin' Band," "Who'll Stop the Rain," and "Lookin' Out My Back Door." The album's musical style blends rockabilly, folk, R&B, and psychedelia, making it diverse and influential. The album's title comes from the band's rehearsal studio, which they jokingly called "The Factory" due to their intense rehearsal schedule. "Cosmo's Factory" was certified 4x platinum and was included in Rolling Stone's list of "500 Greatest Albums of All Time."
