John Lennon was an outstanding British singer and songwriter who achieved global fame as one of the founders and lead vocalists of The Beatles. Together with Paul McCartney, he created one of the most successful songwriting duos in music history. After The Beatles disbanded in 1970, Lennon embarked on a solo career, releasing notable hits such as “Imagine” and “Instant Karma!”. He was also an active public figure and peace advocate alongside his second wife, Yoko Ono. His life was tragically cut short on December 8, 1980, in New York City.

Yoko Ono is a Japanese multimedia artist, singer, and peace activist. She gained prominence in the 1960s with her avant-garde art projects and performances. Along with John Lennon, she formed the Plastic Ono Band. Yoko Ono is actively involved in promoting peace and social change, organizing artistic events and supporting projects in honor of Lennon, including the Strawberry Fields memorial in New York City.

The album “Milk and Honey” is the sixth and final studio release by John Lennon and Yoko Ono, released in January 1984, three years after Lennon’s death. Compiled from material recorded during and after the sessions for their previous album “Double Fantasy”, this posthumous release features new tracks by Yoko Ono and demo recordings by Lennon. Among the most notable tracks are “Nobody Told Me”, “Borrowed Time”, and “I’m Stepping Out”, which give the album its unique character.
