Def Leppard is a British rock band founded in 1976 in Sheffield, which became one of the flagships of the new wave of British heavy metal. Thanks to the combination of melodic hard rock and powerful vocals, the band gained worldwide fame in the 1980s and 1990s. They have sold over 100 million records worldwide, received two RIAA Diamond certifications for their albums Pyromania and Hysteria, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019. Among the biggest hits of Def Leppard are “Pour Some Sugar on Me”, “Love Bites”, “Photograph” and “Rock of Ages”, which made them one of the most successful rock artists in history.

Diamond Star Halos is the band's twelfth studio album, which was released in 2022 after a seven-year break. The album's title refers to T. Rex's classic single “Get It On”, and this is symbolic – the album is a tribute to the glam rock of the 70s, combining retro aesthetics with a modern sound. With Diamond Star Halos, Def Leppard once again demonstrate their unique style, skillfully balancing between energetic rock and lyrical ballad moments. The visual concept of the release was created in collaboration with such artists as Anton Corbijn and Maryam Malakpour, which adds artistic depth to the album. This album is not only a return to the roots, but also a confirmation that the band is still at the peak of its creative form.
