Dr. Dre (Andre Romell Young) is a famous American rapper and producer. Born on February 18, 1956 in Compton, California, USA. He is the founder of Aftermath Entertainment and Beats Electronics, and the co-founder of Death Row Records. He became known as a beat maker and producer, and as a member of the rap group N.W.A. This group influenced the development of gangsta rap and hip-hop in general. After the breakup of N.W.A, Dre began a solo career. In 1992, he released his debut solo album called "The Chronic", which became extremely popular and won a Grammy Award for the single "Let Me Ride". After that, he went on to produce albums for famous rappers, including Snoop Dogg, Eminem, 50 Cent, Xzibit, 2Pac, The Game and Busta Rhymes.

Compton is the third studio album by American rapper and producer Dr. Dre. It was released on August 7, 2015 on Apple Music and the iTunes Store, with physical editions appearing on August 21, 2015. Compton is the follow-up to the second album “2001” (1999) after the cancellation of the previous album “Detox”. It was conceived as part of the Detox project, but the album itself was created while filming the N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton, which inspired Dr. Dre. The production of the album took place in 2013-2015 in several studios with the participation of famous producers, including Dr. Dre, Focus…, Dem Jointz, Trevor Lawrence, Jr., DJ Dahi, Cardiak and others. Compton also featured Anderson, Paak, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Snoop Dogg.
