Imagine Dragons is an American pop rock band formed in 2008 in Las Vegas, USA. The band’s name is an anagram, the meaning of which is known only to the band members. They became widely known after the release of their debut studio album Night Visions in September 2012. The American magazine Billboard named them the brightest new stars of 2013 and the biggest band of 2017, while Rolling Stone magazine called their single "Radioactive" the biggest rock hit of the year.
Loom is the sixth studio album by American pop rock band Imagine Dragons, released on June 28, 2024, via Kidinakorner and Interscope Records. It is the band’s first release as a trio following the departure of drummer Daniel Platzman. The album consists of nine tracks, making it their shortest release to date. It received mixed but generally positive reviews from critics and peaked at number 22 on the Billboard 200 chart. According to lead vocalist Dan Reynolds, the theme of the album reflects the uncertainty between the beginning and the end of a certain phase in life.
