Infected is a band from Kyiv, founded on October 10, 1991. He is an iconic representative of the Ukrainian grindcore scene. At first, they performed hardcore, but over time their style evolved towards a more extreme sound - desi/grindcore. In January 1993, they recorded their first demo single "Surrounded By Infection" in the capital's Komora studio. Over the years, the composition of the band underwent changes, but this did not prevent them from continuing their musical career and performing at various festivals and touring Ukraine. Today, the group consists of Yevhen Zoidze-Mishchenko (vocals), Vitaly Prygunov (drums), Yaroslav "Lieutenant" Rempinsky (guitar) and Volodymyr "Pooh" Yatsenko (bass, backing vocals). Their music, packed with powerful riffs and energetic beats, reflects their years of experience and dedication to the genre.

Coffins by Infected was released on August 9, 2021, via Moon Records. It showcases their masterful blend of death metal and grindcore. This album is marked by extreme music and powerful emotions. The album opens with the track "V.O.V.A.", which captivates the listener with its energy. "Frozen Shit" follows with hard riffs and blast beats, highlighting the band's aggressive style. As a bonus, the album includes a cover of French singer Mylène Farmer's song "XXL", which adds an unexpected twist to the extreme sound of "Coffins".
