INXS – Australian rock band formed in 1977 under the name Farriss Brothers. The band included musicians such as Michael Hutchence, Garry Beers, Andrew Farriss, and others. INXS achieved international fame in the 1980s and 1990s with albums like Listen Like Thieves, Kick, X, and hits such as "Need You Tonight" and "Never Tear Us Apart". After Hutchence’s death in 1997, the band continued with new lead vocalists, with Ciaran Gribbin being the last. INXS sold over 75 million albums and won numerous music awards, including their induction into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2001.
The Very Best is a greatest hits compilation by Australian band INXS, released in 2011. Initially, the album peaked at number 39 in the Australian charts, but after the release of the Australian miniseries INXS: Never Tear Us Apart in 2014, the album re-entered the charts, reaching number one in both Australia and New Zealand.
