Okean Elzy is a Ukrainian rock band formed in 1994 in Lviv. It is one of the most popular and successful rock bands in Ukraine. Their songs are played on radio and television, and their concerts attract millions of fans around the world. Okean Elzy’s music blends indie, rock, and pop elements. Their lyrics often focus on themes of love, freedom, and Ukraine. The band is considered one of the most influential cultural phenomena in the country, continuing to inspire and unite people through music for many years.
"Bez Mezh" is the ninth studio album by Okean Elzy, written in just one year. It was first publicly presented on May 17, 2016, at a free concert in Mariupol, which marked the start of the band's world tour. News about the concert was announced only a few days in advance, and on the day of the event, locals began lining up from 5 a.m. Prior to that, the album was showcased to a small group of fans at a secret rooftop concert in Kyiv. The first vinyl release quickly became a rarity, and now the album is reissued in a new format — on 180g white vinyl with updated artwork from Igor Shamych & AbyShoMzk.
