Description

Pink Floyd is a British rock band founded in 1965 in London. The band has gained worldwide fame for its unique sound, combining progressive rock, psychedelia, and art rock. One of the main features of Pink Floyd is their epic concept albums, which reveal deep themes and philosophy. The band's concept albums, such as "The Wall" and "Dark Side of the Moon", have become classics of rock music. The band's studio releases are distinguished by their innovative sound, the use of synthesizers and studio effects. Pink Floyd is also famous for its impressive live performances with huge light shows and visual effects. Despite periodic lineup changes, Pink Floyd remains one of the most influential and iconic bands in the history of rock music.

Andriy Khlyvnyuk is a Ukrainian musician, vocalist, and lyricist of the Boombox band. Khlyvnyuk is one of the most popular and successful musicians in Ukraine. The band Boombox, which he leads, is perhaps the most famous rock band in the country. Andriy Khlyvnyuk is known for his vibrant performances, emotional lyrics, and patriotic attitude toward Ukraine. During the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Khlyvnyuk became one of the most active representatives of Ukrainian culture. He performed at charity concerts in Europe and the United States, recorded patriotic songs, and appealed to the international community to support Ukraine.

Hey, Hey, Rise Up! is a single released by Pink Floyd and Andriy Khlyvnyuk in 2022. This is the first full-length release by the legendary band since 1994. The song of the same name is an emotional anthem in support of Ukraine in its war with Russia. It is based on the Ukrainian folk song "Oh, there's a red viburnum in the meadow" sung by Andriy Khlyvnyuk. The album also includes the symbolic "A Great Day For Freedom" from the album Division Bell.

The vinyl record contains 2 tracks.
