Queen – a British rock band formed in 1971 in London. They are one of the most successful rock bands of all time. Their albums have sold over 300 million copies worldwide, and their songs have become rock classics. The band started their career influenced by progressive rock, hard rock, and heavy metal. However, over time their style became more traditional and radio-friendly, with elements of arena rock and pop rock. Queen is known for their vibrant concerts, often accompanied by large-scale special effects. The band was also known for their multi-faceted songs, incorporating various styles and genres. The band's vocalist, Freddie Mercury, was one of the brightest personalities in rock music. His voice, stage presence, and appearance made him one of the world's most popular musicians.
Sheer Heart Attack – the third studio album by British rock band Queen, released on November 8, 1974. In this album, the band moved away from the progressive sound of their earlier works and opened a new era with more pop-oriented and traditional rock tracks, which became the foundation of the "classic" Queen sound. The first single, "Killer Queen," reached number 2 on the UK chart and reached number 12 in the US, becoming the band's first hit on the American charts. The album was the first Queen album to enter the US top 20. In 2015, the album was reissued on black 180-gram vinyl with a half-speed remastering done at Abbey Road Studios.
