Rammstein is a German band formed in 1994 in Berlin. The composition of the band has remained unchanged since its foundation. They are known for their unique style that combines industrial metal and Neue Deutsche Härte (rock sub-genre). The band gained popularity thanks to their powerful live performances and Lindemann's charismatic vocals. The debut album "Herzeleid" attracted attention after the band's live performances, and "Sehnsucht" immediately became #1 in Germany. Currently, Rammstein continues to actively tour and record new music.
“Rammstein” is the seventh self-titled album by Rammstein, released in 2019. It is the first studio release in ten years and was produced by Emigrate guitarist Olsen Involtini. The album attracted positive reviews from critics and became a commercial success, reaching number one in over ten countries. While retaining the distinctive Rammstein sound, it combines elements of Neue Deutsche Härte and industrial metal. The singles "Deutschland", "Radio" and "Ausländer" gained significant popularity, reaching the top of the charts and entering the top 5.
