Tattoo You received positive reviews from critics and became a major commercial success, selling more than 4 million copies in the United States alone. It was the band's last album to top the Billboard 200, ending a golden streak of No. 1 records that had lasted since 1971. The Half-Speed Mastered Audio release adds even more clarity and depth to the record.
