Sheryl Crow is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and actress known for her unique style that combines elements of rock, pop, country, folk, and blues. Tuesday Night Music Club is Sheryl Crow's debut album, released on August 3, 1993, which was an unexpected breakthrough in her career. Although the first singles did not achieve much success, everything changed after the release of All I Wanna Do, a carefree anthem of everyday life inspired by a poem by Vin Cooper. This song took the second place on the American Billboard Hot 100 chart, opening the album to a wide audience. Work on the album was carried out in an atmosphere of joint creativity, which is reflected in its title – “Tuesday Night Music Club” – an improvised creative association of musicians who met every Tuesday. The album combines rock, blues, and country sounds, and its lyrics – from frank melancholy (I Shall Believe) to ironic drive (The Na-Na Song) – create an emotionally rich portrait of the artist at the start of her career. The album went multi-platinum in the United States and the United Kingdom, cementing Crowe's status as the voice of the 90s generation.
