SKAI is a Ukrainian rock band performing in alternative rock, pop rock, and post-punk new wave styles. Formed in 2001 in Ternopil, the band gained initial attention through the “Svizha Krov” project, where they caught the eye of Eduard Klym, director of the Lavina Music label. Their breakthrough came with the song “Tebe tse mozhe vbyty.”
Naprolom is SKAI’s studio album released in 2023 on vinyl. It blends classic rock sound with modern musical experiments, delivering emotional depth and energy. At the heart of the album are lyrics about love, struggle, freedom, and self-belief. A standout track is the hit “Lehkovazhna” — a melodic and sincere song that has already garnered over 20 million views on YouTube and won over audiences across Ukraine.
