Stereophonics – a British rock band formed in 1992 in Cwmaman, in the Cynon Valley, Wales. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Kelly Jones, bassist Richard Jones, guitarist Adam Zindani, drummer Jamie Morrison, and keyboardist Tony Kirkham. Their style blends elements of alternative and classic British rock. The band gained success after the release of their debut album *Word Gets Around* in 1997. They have released 12 studio albums, 8 of which topped the UK charts, and their single "Dakota" (2005) became their first number one hit. The band is also known for their energetic live performances and participation in major music festivals.

Performance And Cocktails – the second studio album by Welsh rock band Stereophonics, released on March 8, 1999, by V2 Records. The album's title comes from the lyrics of the first track, "Roll Up and Shine". The album was commercially successful, although it received mixed reviews from critics. It was recorded in the Real World, Parkgate, and Rockfield studios. The album cover was photographed by Scarlett Page, inspired by a shot by Annie Leibovitz. The model in the photo is Lucy Joplin, who shared that she was using absinthe and opium during the photo session.
