The Chemical Brothers is an English electronic music duo formed by Ed Simons and Tom Rowlands in 1992. They became pioneers of the "big beat" genre, popularizing it in mainstream culture. Initially known as The Dust Brothers, they changed their name due to a conflict with another band. Their debut album "Exit Planet Dust" (1995) gained significant success, and their second album "Dig Your Own Hole" (1997) topped the UK chart. They have released six albums that reached number one in the UK and won six Grammy Awards.
Brotherhood is a compilation album by English electronic duo The Chemical Brothers, released on September 1, 2008. It is the second greatest hits compilation by the duo, following "Singles 93–03" (2003). The album features 13 hit singles and two new tracks, "Midnight Madness" and "Keep My Composure" (featuring Spank Rock). The second disc includes all ten parts of The Chemical Brothers' "Electronic Battle Weapon" series, which they have been recording since 1996. The album was preceded by the digital single "Midnight Madness," which was promoted through user-generated content by fans.
