The Lumineers are an American alternative folk band from Denver, Colorado. They were formed in 2005 by Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Fraites in New Jersey. Until 2018, Neyla Pekarek was a member of the band. They are known for their energetic performances and hits such as "Ho Hey", "Stubborn Love", "Ophelia", "Angela", and "Cleopatra". The band has released four albums, with "The Lumineers" and "Cleopatra" reaching the top positions on the Billboard 200.
Brightside is the fourth studio album by American indie folk band The Lumineers, released on January 14, 2022, by Dualtone and Decca Records. It was produced by Simone Felice and David Baron. The album was recorded in early 2021 at Sun Mountain Studios in New York. Most of the instrumentation was performed by band members Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Fraites, with Baron on keyboards. The album received positive reviews from critics, with a Metacritic score of 72/100, and was supported by three singles: "Brightside", "Big Shot", and "A.M. Radio".
