The Offspring is an American punk rock band formed in 1984 in Garden Grove, California. Originally known as Manic Subsidal, the band gained popularity in the 1990s alongside Green Day, NOFX, and other California punk bands. Over their 39-year career, they have released 10 studio albums and sold over 40 million records. Their most famous album is "Smash" (1994), which includes the hit "Come Out and Play". Despite changes in the lineup, Brian "Dexter" Holland remains the only constant member.

Let the Bad Times Roll is the tenth studio album by American rock band The Offspring, released on April 16, 2021. It is the band's first album in nine years since Days Go By (2012), marking the longest gap between their albums. The album was recorded without bassist and co-founder Greg K., who was fired from the band in 2018. Most of the bass guitar parts were performed by frontman Dexter Holland, although new bassist Todd Morse had joined the band. The recording lasted from 2013 to 2020, but the release was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and internal band issues.
