The Rolling Stones are one of the most influential bands in the history of rock music, having changed the course of pop culture since their founding in 1962. Producer Jimmy Miller provided the characteristic dense sound, while the participation of guest musicians, including saxophonist Bobby Keyes and keyboardists Nicky Hopkins and Billy Preston, made the arrangements exquisite. The album is characterized by a return to the “basics” - hard blues rock, sexual directness and emotional power. From the explosive Brown Sugar to the sad lyrics of Wild Horses, from the experimental jam Can't You Hear Me Knocking to the piercing Sister Morphine, Sticky Fingers is the epitome of a mature, confident band at the height of their creative form.
