Description

Louis Armstrong was an outstanding American trumpeter and vocalist, considered one of the most influential figures in the history of jazz. His career spanned over five decades, and he made a significant contribution to the genre, transitioning from collective improvisation to solo performances. Among his most famous songs are "What a Wonderful World," "Hello, Dolly!" and "La Vie en Rose." Armstrong began his musical career in New Orleans and later became a national icon, performing on radio, television, and in film. Thanks to his unique voice and ability to improvise, he gained popularity among various audiences.
