Svyatoslav Vakarchuk is a Ukrainian musician, leader of the band Okean Elzy, public figure, and former politician. He is a composer, songwriter, and lieutenant in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Honored Artist of Ukraine, Chevalier of the Order of Freedom, Member of Parliament of Ukraine, Vakarchuk is known for his civic activism and participation in the Ukrainian revolutions. Svyatoslav is a member of such music projects as Esthetic Education, Brussels, and At Night. Vakarchuk has gained national and international recognition as a musician, vocalist, leader of the rock band Okean Elzy, and composer.

Vnochi (At Night) is an album by Svyatoslav Vakarchuk released in 2008. It is also the author's project of the legendary musician, and its presentation was attended by famous Ukrainian and foreign writers, musicians, directors, politicians, diplomats, etc. The concert tour in support of the album, which took place a year later, became a large-scale charity event for children from orphanages. The sound of this record differs from the indie rock characteristic of Okean Elzy, but it is one of the few calm jazz releases of that time.
