The Yamaha AG08 is the flagship model of the second generation of the AG series streaming mixers. This console combines all the main advantages of its predecessors with a variety of new features, making it a versatile station for streaming.
The AG08 features flexible input/output and USB routing parameters, additional DSP effects, and an improved internal circuit. This allows the console to be used not only for streaming but also as an interface for a home studio and content creation.
The AG08 easily handles tasks such as streaming conversations, gaming, creating ASMR videos, dubbing, and recording musical instruments and vocals. Both microphone channels have +48V phantom power to support condenser microphones. The AG08 Controller app allows you to pan the signal of stereo microphones, including ASMR microphones.
The console has two independent headphone monitor channels, making it ideal for recording podcasts when two people are conversing. The signal from multiple applications on a PC or analog line inputs can be assigned to channels 3/4, 5/6, or 7/8 for mixing using the faders. Three mixed USB outputs can be individually assigned to different applications on the PC.
Four preset effect buttons allow you to easily switch between effects for the first channel. The AG08 has high-quality DSP effects grouped into five categories, including a compressor, equalizer, reverb, new delay effect, and voice change function. These effects are processed by the built-in DSP, ensuring zero latency. The Ducker function automatically attenuates the sounds from channels 3/4, 5/6, and 7/8 relative to the audio from channels 1 and 2. The AG08 has six customizable sound pads for adding sound effects in real time.
The console comes with the proprietary PA-150B power adapter and supports bus power via USB. The software includes Cubase AI for music creation and WaveLab Cast for creating and editing audio. The AG08 is compatible with the Cubasis LE app for iOS devices.
