The Gator GL-SG case is designed specifically for Gibson SG® and similar guitars. It is a versatile solution that combines the lightness of a gig bag with the strength of a classic hard case. This hybrid approach provides the optimal balance between maximum mobility and reliable protection of the instrument during transportation.
The exterior of the case is made of 600-denier nylon, which is highly resistant to wear and moisture. It forms a strong barrier that protects the guitar from weather conditions and mechanical damage. Inside, the case is reinforced with dense EPS foam filler, which absorbs shock and prevents deformation of the instrument during falls and other unforeseen situations.
The interior of the case is decorated with soft plush material, creating a safe environment for storing the instrument, protecting it from scratches and abrasions. Two dedicated interior compartments provide separate space for accessories—such as strings, capos, picks, or cables—to keep them organized and within reach.
For comfortable carrying, the case features a comfortable reinforced handle and a removable shoulder strap that makes it easy to transport the instrument during performances, rehearsals, or travel. Weighing just 2.43 kg, the Gator GL-SG does not create an additional burden and is an ideal choice for musicians who value lightness and reliability.
