The Vandoren BD5 HD Black Diamond mouthpiece is the perfect solution for clarinetists who want to combine richness of tone with compactness of sound. This mouthpiece is made of a new exclusive material - HD (high-density) ebonite, which opens up new sound horizons. Thanks to this material, musicians can enjoy the natural sound of the clarinet with excellent depth and richness of tone.
The main difference between the BD5 HD mouthpiece is its exceptional ease of play, which allows musicians to achieve greater freedom and control regardless of the dynamics of the performance. The superior acoustic properties of HD ebonite enhance sound projection, making it rich and balanced throughout the clarinet's range.
The model is also available in the BD5 HD 13 Series, developed at the request of American clarinetists for use in 440 Hz tuning. Both models have the same technical characteristics, but are tailored to different performance styles.
