The Selmer Paris Claude Delangle Alto Saxophone Mouthpiece is an accessory made from a combination of metal and ebonite. This model was developed thanks to the close cooperation of the Henri SELMER Paris company with the outstanding saxophonist and professor of the Paris Conservatoire Claude Delangle. The metal ring that surrounds the shank hole is reminiscent of the first mouthpieces created by Adolphe Sax, and at the same time combines traditional features with the innovative design of the Henri SELMER Paris Concept mouthpieces. The gold-plated metal ring provides dense and saturated sound with improved projection. The mouthpiece has an tip opening of 1.65 mm, a round chamber shape, and a facing length of 24 mm. The kit also includes a sticker on the mouthpiece for additional comfort when playing.
