Hidersine HR-1C cello rosin is a recognized standard in the world of rosins. It is chosen by both beginners and professionals due to its excellent balance of string grip and ease of use.
This rosin is known for its harder properties, providing excellent grip between the bow hair and the strings. The light-hard cello rosin is slightly softer than its violin counterpart, which is necessary because the larger cello strings require a softer rosin to achieve proper grip.
Hidersine HR-1C has been made according to Francis Hider's historic recipe for many decades and is still hand-crafted in England. The process includes hand-mixing and hand-pouring, making each rosin unique.
