Dynacord was founded in 1946 and has been designing and developing professional audio electronics for over 70 years – products that deliver unrivaled performance and the highest quality, with the perfect balance of power and precision. The company's head office is located in Straubing (Germany). The Dynacord and Electro-Voice brands are part of the Bosch Communications Systems family of brands, offering the world's most comprehensive portfolio of professional audio and communications solutions.
The company began by producing tube amplifiers for public address systems and quickly gained a reputation for producing high-quality and reliable devices. In 1945, engineer Werner Pinternagel opened a radio equipment repair shop in Pilsting, where he assembled his first tube amplifiers. A year later, Dynacord Funktechnik und Gerätebau was founded. In 1947 the company moved to Landau an der Isar. Dynacord produced the Dynaphon MV1, a simple tube amplifier with inputs for high-impedance microphones, radios and crystal pickups, as well as film amplifiers for cinemas. In 1948/49 The first mixing and cabinet amplifiers under the Dynacord brand appeared. In the 1950s The KV 6 and KV 10 portable amplifiers brought great success, followed by the KV 12 in 1960. The company sold more than 70 thousand units of the DA 15 model, which was also produced for 10 years.
