The Yamaha FS-TA TransAcoustic is a compact instrument that lets you enjoy high-quality reverb and chorus effects without the need for external effects or amplifiers. The unique TransAcoustic technology is built directly into the guitar and provides a three-dimensional, rich sound that comes straight from the body.
The main feature of the FS-TA is the actuator, which picks up the signal from the strings and creates vibrations, adding effects to the acoustic sound. Controls are as simple as possible: three knobs allow you to adjust the intensity of the chorus and reverb, as well as enable the TransAcoustic function or adjust the volume when connected to an amplifier.
The compact Concert-type body makes this instrument easy to play for both young musicians and guitarists who prefer fingerstyle technique. The body is made of mahogany, which adds warmth and softness to the sound, and the solid spruce top provides a bright tone and excellent projection. The nato neck with rosewood fingerboard and bridge provides comfortable playability and sound stability.
The advanced Scalloped X-type top bracing system creates a balanced tone with rich midrange and powerful bottom end. Thanks to its slim body profile and shallower depth (90-110 mm), the FS-TA is ideal for long rehearsals and gigs.
The guitar is also equipped with high-quality Elixir NANOWEB strings that provide long-lasting sustain and tone stability, and chrome mechanics that add to the elegance of the instrument's appearance.
