Boss Katana-50 EX Gen 3 is an advanced guitar combo amplifier designed specifically for live performances. This model extends the capabilities of the Katana-50 Gen 3, adding an upgraded speaker, line-out and Stereo Expand functions, and support for GA-FC/GA-FC EX controllers.
The Katana-50 EX Gen 3 offers 50 watts of power with a specially designed 12-inch speaker, providing high projection and resonance on stage. The distinctive design with a gray and black matrix grille adds to its aesthetic appeal. This model features six amp characters, including the new Pushed type, which delivers rich, dynamic sound. Five independent effect sections – Booster, Mod, FX, Delay, and Reverb – allow you to create unique sound combinations, and four Tone Setting memories enable quick recall of saved settings. The built-in Power Control feature allows you to maintain a powerful tube-like sound even at low volume levels.
The Katana-50 EX Gen 3 supports connection with footswitches and controllers such as the GA-FC and GA-FC EX, allowing you to manage the amplifier during performances and access additional settings and effects. The Stereo Expand function enables you to link two amplifiers to create immersive stereo sound.
The Katana-50 EX Gen 3 is equipped with all the necessary connections, including a Line Out jack for connecting to a PA system, a headphone jack for quiet practice, and a USB port for recording directly to a computer or mobile device.
