Having direct access to 8 user presets further expands your control options. MiniLab includes our free MIDI Control Center software that lets you map parameters in a simple and easy way directly from your computer. Those presets are then stored in the MiniLab for instant recall.

Take it on the run
The MiniLab keyboard is designed for maximum portability, flexibility and performance. It’s small enough to fit in a laptop bag, but big on features. The ergonomic spacing of the 16 encoders and 8 pads keeps this small controller from feeling cramped. The touch strip controls for Pitch bend and Modulation offer low profile controllers with ‘last position hold’ or ‘return to zero’ modes of operation.

It features 25 velocity-sensitive mini-keys alongside our brand new pitch and modulation touch strip controls, giving you maximum expression and playability in a highly portable package. We included 16 assignable encoders so you’ll have everything you need to program and perform wherever you may be. Two banks of 8 backlit performance pads, for 16 total, can be easily assigned as drum pads, MIDI CC buttons or Program change switches. The recessed, full-sized USB jack and assignable footswitch input will keep your connections safe and out of the way. It all adds up: MiniLab is the premier mobile keyboard solution.

We also include our award-winning Analog Lab software, which gives you over 6000 of the best classic synth and keyboard sounds around. The software also configures itself to look like the MiniLab for a handy 1:1 user interface.

The front panel controls will automatically map to the most used parameters of each sound in Analog Lab. Functions like Cutoff, Resonance, Envelope controls, LFO rate and depth will be under your control immediately.

You can also browse and load your sounds directly from the front panel. What’s more, the pads on the MiniLab give you two different performance features:

• Pads 1-8 access Chord mode. You can use this to trigger arpeggiated sounds with a specific set of notes, or you can set a pad to Toggle mode and have it hold an ambient drone.
• Pads 9-16 will save “snapshots” of your favorite Sounds or Multis for instant recall.

Analog Lab Software

Analog Lab is an extremely powerful software synthesizer solution that puts 6000 classic synthesizer sounds from Arturia’s premier vintage analog recreations at your fingertips.

Analog Lab offers the ability to do fast and simple editing and customizing of your presets, but it doesn’t stop there. Owners of the original individual synthesizer software products or V Collection can open one of those sounds in Analog Lab and edit it in the original software, and then add it to their library.

Our new Multi mode allows you to create amazing layers and splits and then shape, warp and twist them with 17 high-quality effects. Analog Lab will take your sound and workflow to a new level.

So what’s in Analog Lab?

	Sound mode When you need to find sounds quickly, Sound Mode gives you multiple options for organizing and selecting them. The data filters help you narrow your search and find that special Bass or Pad sound you need. The updated preset browser allows you to rate the sounds according to your taste, choose favorites, arrange the columns and sort by name, type, sound designer, favorite, ratings, etc.
	Multi mode Imagine being able to layer the rich pads of a CS-80 and Jupiter 8 together, or creating a split with your signature Mini V bass on the bottom and a twisted Wurlitzer on top. The new Multi mode allows you to create your own layers and splits easily: just drag and drop your chosen sounds into the Preset window. You can further sculpt the Multi preset by processing each layer with a plethora of effects. There are 17 high-quality, unique effects at your disposal so you can create extreme variations of the existing sounds.
	Snapshots The Snapshot tab allows you to access your favorite sounds immediately. Simply drag and drop your favorite Multi or Sound preset onto a Snapshot button and then you can recall that preset with a single press of the button.
	Pads The Chords tab on the lower hardware section of the screen opens when you click on it to reveal the number of pads that your Arturia controller has. You can click on these pads to play individual notes or chords selected from a list of standard chords and voicings.
	Live mode Drag and drop Sounds or Multis into the Live mode Program Map to create a selection of presets. You can then recall them quickly from your Arturia controller.
	Graphic Studio mode Our Graphic Studio mode allows you to view the synthesizers and keyboards whose sounds make up the library in Analog Lab.

About ANALOG LAB

MIDI Control Center

Our MIDI Control Center software allows you to edit the controller parameters quickly and easily. With an intuitive graphical interface and a 1:1 screen image of your hardware, you can tailor the controls of your KeyLab controller to match the settings of your favorite plug-ins and DAWs.

Software integration

Analog Lab is a virtual instrument, which means that its sounds are generated within the computer. It can be used as a stand-alone application or as a plug-in within Digital Audio Workstations such as Steinberg Cubase, Digidesign Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Apple Logic Pro X, MOTU Digital Performer, and Cakewalk Sonar, to name a few.

Hardware integration

The user-customizable MIDI mapping allows you to control the parameters you want to control with your favorite keyboard. But this is even better: use an Arturia keyboard controller and the interface will automatically change to show its knob and slider layouts, resulting in a slick 1:1 user interface.
