The French company Arturia has introduced an updated version of its most compact MIDI controller — MicroLab mk3. This miniature instrument combines stylish modern design, a new keyboard, touch-sensitive controls, and an updated software package — all in an extremely portable body.

MicroLab mk3 retains the key advantage of its predecessors — compactness and ease of use — but now it offers even more features, making it a versatile solution for both beginners and professional musicians seeking a convenient tool for on-the-go or home studio work.
The keyboard is equipped with 25 keys, borrowed from the MiniLab 3, and features a new low-profile mechanism that provides a natural and precise playing feel. This ensures that even in such a small form factor, musicians get a high-quality tool for experimentation and creativity.

In the design of the MicroLab mk3, traditional modulation wheels have been replaced with touch-sensitive strips for more precise and innovative control. Additionally, the new keyboard supports Hold and One Finger Chord functions, which greatly simplify chord playing and enhance performance capabilities.

The keyboard can be connected to a computer or mobile device via a USB-C port, which provides both power and MIDI signal transmission. There is also a 1/4" input for a sustain pedal or expression controller.

With the MicroLab mk3, you get the Analog Lab Intro software — a library of classic synthesizer and keyboard sounds — as well as Ableton Live Lite, a popular DAW for creating, recording, and mixing music. This package allows you to start the creative process immediately after connecting the controller.
Arturia positions the MicroLab mk3 as the ideal solution for mobile work, travel, or music creation in limited spaces. It easily fits into a backpack, sets up quickly, and is ready for use anywhere — from a café to a bus.
