The Sabian AAX series is a modern interpretation of the legendary AA line and features increased hammering, a wide dynamic range, and consistent sound at any volume level. AAX cymbals deliver a bright attack, shimmering sustain, and excellent readability, while remaining versatile for a wide variety of musical styles, from pop to metal.
The Sabian 8" AAX Air Splash is a fast and piercing splash with an open, "breathable" sound character. Thanks to its raw cup and signature AAX forging and dot, the cymbal has a clear, sharp attack with a deeper and richer tone than conventional splashes. Its ultra-thin weight provides instant response and very short decay, making it ideal for fast accents. The cymbal is made of professional B20 bronze (80% copper and 20% tin), ensuring a rich tone, stable sound, and high durability.
