The Behringer RD-6-BB is an analog drum machine that revives the iconic spirit of a classic, offering modern musicians and producers the authentic sound of the legendary TR-606. This instrument is designed for intuitive and fast beat creation, combining a fully analog signal path with the flexible capabilities of modern integration. The RD-6-BB is a versatile tool for both beginners in the world of beat-making and seasoned professionals looking to add a recognizable analog character to their setup.
The device features eight unique percussion sounds, including a punchy kick drum, a crisp snare, hi-hats, and the famous clap sound borrowed from the BR-110. At its core is an intuitive 16-step sequencer that allows you to store up to 32 patterns and chain them into full songs up to 250 bars long. A dedicated volume knob is provided for each of the eight sounds, giving you full control over the mix.
To add aggression and character to your beats, the RD-6-BB is equipped with a built-in distortion, modeled after the classic DS-1 pedal. The drum machine has individual audio outputs for each instrument, MIDI I/O/Thru, Sync I/O for synchronizing with other gear, and a USB port for connecting to a DAW. This transforms the RD-6-BB into a versatile rhythm station for both studio work and live performances.
