The Behringer RD-6-RD is an analog drum machine that revives the iconic sound of a classic. It is a meticulous recreation of the legendary TR-606's circuitry, enhanced with the authentic clap sound from the BR-110. This device will become the centerpiece of your setup.

At the core of the RD-6-RD is a fully analog signal path, ensuring a warm, rich, and lively sound. At your disposal are 8 authentic drum tones: a punchy bass drum, a snappy snare, sizzling open and closed hi-hats, two toms, and a cymbal. To add aggressive character and texture to your parts, the drum machine is equipped with a built-in distortion effect, modeled after the famous DS-1 pedal. The level and tone controls allow you to fine-tune the degree of distortion, from a light "warm-up" to extreme overdrive.

The creative process is greatly simplified thanks to the intuitive 16-step sequencer. It allows you to easily create and edit rhythmic patterns in real-time, instantly switching between 32 separate patterns. For building full compositions, there is a Song Mode function that allows you to chain patterns into sequences up to 256 bars long. This is ideal for live performances and jam sessions where freedom of improvisation and on-the-fly track building is needed.

The RD-6-RD easily integrates into any modern studio environment. The presence of a USB port allows you to sync the drum machine with a DAW and control it via MIDI. Classic 5-pin MIDI In, Out, and Thru jacks ensure compatibility with external equipment. For flexible routing and individual processing of each instrument, separate audio outputs are provided. Additionally, the inclusion of Sync I/O and trigger outputs makes the RD-6-RD a versatile device for working with modular and vintage gear.
