The AKG C544 L is a professional condenser head-worn microphone designed for use in environments where full freedom of movement is essential. It is ideal for fitness instructors, sports trainers, presentations, and other hands-free applications. Thanks to its lightweight and comfortable headband, the microphone stays securely in place without restricting movement.
The cardioid polar pattern ensures clear voice pickup while minimizing background noise. The short boom arm places the capsule close to the mouth, reducing breath and plosive sounds. An integrated shock mount minimizes noise caused by body movement. A special moisture shield protects the microphone from sweat and makeup, preventing clogging of the membrane.
The microphone is equipped with a 3-pin mini-XLR connector compatible with AKG WMS series body-pack transmitters. It comes with a 1.5-meter cable for flexible and comfortable use. Frequency response ranges from 80 to 20000 Hz, sensitivity is 25 mV/Pa, and it can handle sound pressure levels up to 120 dB. Weighing only 30 grams, the microphone is barely noticeable during use.
The package includes the AKG C544 L microphone, W444 windscreen, and four replacement moisture shields.
