Direct Box (DI-Box) Radial J48

The Radial J48 is a professional 48V phantom-powered active DI box designed for live performances and recording studios. Thanks to its unique circuitry, it provides exceptional dynamic range and headroom, allowing you to accurately reproduce the natural tone of your instrument without distortion.

Unlike standard active DI boxes that handle up to 3V, the J48 uses a switching power supply that boosts the internal bus voltage to 9V. This allows it to process signals with peak levels up to +10dBu without overloading, while maintaining clarity and detail.

The device supports a 600Ω balanced output with low noise and minimal harmonic distortion (THD 0.002%), making it an ideal choice for electric guitars, basses, keyboards, and other sound sources. The built-in Merge switch allows you to combine stereo signals into mono, which is convenient for working with dual outputs.

The J48 has a rugged 14” steel enclosure with a heat-treated enamel finish that protects the electronics from mechanical damage and interference.
