The Allen & Heath AHM-16 matrix sound processor is a compact and efficient device that is ideal for processing audio signals in small multi-room spaces such as bars, restaurants, shops, and school halls. Thanks to its 16x16 matrix processing, this processor provides high-quality sound management with flexible signal routing and processing capabilities for each of the 16 output channels.
The AHM-16 is equipped with 8 analog microphone-line inputs and 8 relay-protected line outputs located on Phoenix connectors. In addition, it has a port for connecting audio network cards such as Dante, MADI, Waves, or SLink, which provides the possibility of integration with other audio systems.
The processor supports several sound management tools, including an automatic microphone mixer, background noise compensation (ANC), priority ducking of other sources when a signal is present (Priority Ducking), as well as 8-band parametric EQ, dynamic processing and delay on each input and zone. There is also signal processing for speakers with crossover filter, delay, limiter, and parametric EQ.
On the front panel of the AHM-16, there is a screen and 4 programmable buttons for quick access to volume control, source selection or recall of settings, and many other functions. Support for remote controllers IP1, IP6, IP8, local and network GPIO interface, as well as integration with TCP/IP protocols, allow you to customize the system to specific user needs.
This processor is equipped with a 96 kHz FPGA core with ultra-low latency, which guarantees high sound quality. The processor also supports "System Manager" software for Mac/Windows and the "Custom Control" application.
