Above the ZLX series and below the EKX series, the ELX200 series includes 10", 12", and 15" two-way speaker models, as well as 12" and 18" subwoofers. All of them are available in both active and passive versions. The ELX200 series is super-affordably priced with lightweight bodies, professional sound and a versatile feature set that makes playing and performing like never before. The full range models feature a low profile form factor and are housed in rugged composite cases that strike a balance between light weight, structural integrity and ease of use.
The Electro-Voice ELX200-12P is a 12" 2-way 1200W loudspeaker. It has a Class D amplifier that drives a 12" woofer and a 1" titanium tweeter compression driver, providing a frequency response of 51Hz to 20kHz. Equipped with suspension points for fixed installation, the ELX200 makes it easy to achieve excellent results in a wide variety of applications. Connections can be made using two TRS/XLR combo jacks. RCA unbalanced stereo inputs are for connecting external audio devices such as MP3 players. The XLR output sends a mixture of both input signals to another speaker or subwoofer. Although the device is Bluetooth capable, it is only intended to communicate with the Quicksmart mobile app - Bluetooth music transfer is not supported. The customization options are extensive and allow full control of the output signal. The range of options is efficient and the navigation system is easy to use. The control panel has two input level controls and a master volume control. The built-in DSP offers four simple presets, five user-programmable presets, and a three-band EQ. The polypropylene body and steel grill provide a combination of strength and light weight. Handles make it easy to carry. Stand mounts and three M10 threaded suspension points provide a variety of mounting options.
