The Rolling Stones is a legendary rock band that gained worldwide fame with its unique sound and charismatic performances. The band was formed in 1962 in London and consisted of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Brian Jones, Charlie Watts, and Bill Wyman. Their songs became the trademark of rock and roll, and their concerts turned into true musical epics. Hits like "Paint It Black," "Sympathy for the Devil," "Angie," "Start Me Up," and many others have long become genre classics. Hot Rocks 1964–1971 is a compilation album by The Rolling Stones, released in December 1971 by London Records. The album became the best-selling release of the band's career and includes popular hits, as well as B-sides and album tracks such as "Under My Thumb" and "Gimme Shelter." The latter became one of the most famous songs by the band. The album cover features silhouettes of the band members taken by photographer Ron Raffaelli in 1969.
