The JBL COL600 is a one-of-a-kind, sleek, 24-inch-wide, slimline speaker that provides a wide horizontal and narrow vertical coverage area. A built-in 10° downward tilt allows for optimal coverage for most listening areas, even when the speaker is mounted flat against a wall. The sleek, compact, award-winning design blends in perfectly with any architectural interior.

Two 5-inch by 2.25-inch raceway drivers provide maximum radiation area in a colonial shape. The tweeter is positioned at the top of the array for less interference with the listening area and is angled downward to achieve a downward tilt, even when the speaker cabinet is mounted flat against a wall. The system's shallow cabinet depth (3.7 inches or 93 mm) allows it to be used in Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant projects when the cabinet is mounted flat against the wall.
A 20-watt transformer with multi-feed capability allows the system to be used on distributed 70V or 100V loudspeaker lines, as well as for direct use with 8 ohms impedance at 80W (continuous) or 320W (peak power, 2 hours). The frequency range of 70 Hz to 20 kHz provides clean, clear sound for music or speech.
The two included L-bases allow for flexible installation: top and bottom for horizontal tilt or left and right for close-to-wall installation. In addition, a low-profile swivel bracket (swivel/tilt) is also included to add a downward tilt of up to 10° for the enclosure when installed flat against a wall.
The COL600 is IP54-rated (according to IEC60529) to protect against the ingress of dust or water. The speakers are waterproof treated, the grille has a waterproof background and a cover plate is included to protect the input terminals.
